Cinco de Mayo!

Did you know that Cinco de Mayo is not just a holiday for Americans to take tequila shots, eat obscene amounts of guacamole and ride mechanical bulls!?  There is actually history behind this day we celebrate, the 5th of May.

Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.  Gooo Mexcio!  The holiday is primarily celebrated in the state of Puebla and in the United States.  The rest of Mexico virtually ignores it!

Typical Americans.  Any holiday to eat, drink and be merry.

Enjoy your day!
